lifestyle and home blog

So we are getting near the end... the final count down to D-Day! These photos were taken last week when I was 38 weeks pregnant, Im now into my 39th week with only one to go, although that really depends on Baby McG. He could chose to come tomo or not for another two weeks, we'll just have to wait and see!

A lot of people of been asking me where I shop for maternity wear, and to be honest most of the items I have been wearing have been non mat wear. I got one great maternity dress from asos and a few tops from them and they hands down have the best selection in my opinion. Most of the stuff I wear during the day are loose knits and tees that Ive got from H&M. This dress I bought in H&M as well, its non maternity but had a shift style shape so I just sized up and bought a size 12 instead of a size 10. I loved the sleeves and band under the bust which helped give my bump a bit of shape. I think its probably mega stretched out of shape now as Ive been wearing it on and off for the past month but definitely got my monies worth out of it!

  8. The sad part about the sleepless nights is that it gets worse too! By the time your little one is teething, they lose a lot of sleep and you to too, so the sleepless nights in pregnancy help prepare in that a little bit. I see on your instragrams below on your site that you had your son!!! Congratulations. He is so cute. Great job!! You looked beautiful in your maternity wear.
