Winter wardrobe inspirationCoat: New Look // Grey Jumper : H&M // Pink Jumper: H&M // Backpack : Lotd // Trainers: Lotd // Jeans: New Look// Boots: Lotd // Bobble hat: H&M // Scarf: H&M.

With summer well and truly over and winter creeping in I have been thinking about my wardrobe. When I first had Finn I felt I sort of lost myself and my style not sure what I wanted to wear, feeling slightly mumsy in things and reaching for comfort over style.
As time as gone on and Im back in shape and feeling more confident in myself as me and in myself as a mum I know what I want to wear this winter, comfort and style can be combined! Ive decided to try and keep to a palette of dusky pinks and greys that way I can maximise my wardrobe mixing and matching to keep it fresh. Trainers, flatforms and boots will be my shoes of choice, I havent really worn heels much while off on maternity, carrying a 22lb baby on your hip is enough without adding heels to the mix but heeled boots seem perfect when Im back at work and flatforms and suede trainers can add a sleeker look on days when Im running around after Finn.
Jeans and jeggings suit my shape at the minute and combined with oversize knits they feel cosy and snug but will also look good combined with a bold lip colour. Im still on the look out for the perfect tweed/wool skirt to add to my wardrobe with a polo neck or oversized cardy but for now Id be pretty happy with one of everything above!!

  3. Hey Vicki! Love the colour palette, maybe you could try a closet app that helps you rediscover pieces you already own and style them in new ways now that you are feeling confident again! If you're not already using one, Intelistyle is really great for that.
