sight seeing mallorca

Flip me, hello blogging world.. is there anyone still out there? I cant believe it was May when I last posted, that's the longest I have ever gone without updating my little corner of the interweb. In that time Ive really been enjoying my maternity leave off with Finn.
We've been doing some baby sensory classes, traveling about up at the north coast & spending a week in Puerto Pollensa. I plan on doing a little post on travelling with a baby, some of my tips and advice on things to pack when going abroad with a young baby. But for now I thought I would just share some photos of the trip and the beautiful scenery.

Puerto Pollensa was such a stunning place to visit and explore, we were lucky enough to rent a villa overlooking the sea so we could Finn on short trips to the beach for a swim and be back up in our villa in a few minutes later. The pine walk promenade ran from our villa right along by the sea to the harbour and was full of great shops and amazing restaurants to eat in.

With the million and one baby items required for a one week trip I decided against bringing my Canon camera so all my photos were taken on my iPhone which is a big regret as there were so many beautiful buildings and sights I wish I couldve photographed better. Dave & I managed two date nights as we were away with his family who very kindly watched Finn for us.
Abbacco was by far our favourite restaurant that specialised in amazing modern cuisine and to die for fresh sushi and Cappuccino was our favourite spot for cocktails and people watching.

The little side streets were packed with cute and quaint shops selling hand made authentic gifts, such as weaved baskets, leather bags, olive wood chopping boards & wooden marine inspired wall hangings & jewellery.

We had such an amazing time made all the better by having Finn with us, for anyone thinking of travelling with a baby I say go for it! I was no nervous about it but Finn was great & really enjoyed himself and Im already thinking about our next foreign holiday.
