Redesigning my Bathroom...Tuesday, November 22, 2016
Dave & I moved into our home over a year ago now, man how time has flown by! We are slowly tackling one room at a time, bringing in our own style and modernising each in turn. We started with the most important room in the house, the kitchen, and then tackled the little tv room which we call the snug. Then we moved on to our bedroom and the hall.
At the minute we are doing the nursery and working on our big living room and although the living room is far from done Im already thinking of my next project! Our en-suite is currently the most neglected room in the house with a burgundy sink and toilet- yup its got 80's tastic written all over it! I really want to inject a cool, slick, slightly industrial style look in the bathroom, ripping out the whole thing, adding a floating sink, rain shower and gold details. Funky grey subway style wall tiles and patterned floor tiles are something I think would look really well in this small space and would give it a little touch of luxury. Ive already started pinning ideas and love creating mood boards like the one above to help organise my ideas. Here are some of my fav items so far...
