irish fashion blog

Im back! I cant believe how long its been since my last blog post! Sometimes the summer sunshine and long bright days just keeps me away from my laptop and outside in my garden or off on weekend adventures. I am however going to attempt to get back into some regular scheduled posts over the next few weeks.
These photos were taken last weekend on one of the best days in July so far, Dave & I had no plans so we packed the dogs in the car and headed to local spot known as the Windy Gap for a walk and a little picnic.

This dress has been a little home project that I kept putting off and never finishing. A few weekends ago I got out my sewing machine and finally finished it. I bought the pattern and fabric maybe two summers ago so its great to see it finally finished, the fabric is unusual and i just love the colour and the shape. I think I would attempt the same dress pattern again but in a heavier fabric for winter and maybe shorten the length by an inch or so.
