I'll meet you at the Lighthouse...Tuesday, March 29, 2016
Ill be honest with you guys, I have never been one of those bloggers who can brave the cold weather with bare legs and a smile. Its more like an incredibly grumpy Vicki in an unusual slightly alarming shade of frostbite blue. The weather in Northern Ireland even in the mid of summer is never guaranteed to be warm or even dry so practical clothing that is also nice to look at is an essential.
So when Lighthouse Clothing contacted me and asked me to be their brand ambassador I instantly knew it was something that I wanted to do.
Based in Northern Ireland Lighthouse Clothing are a new venture by the well established Target Dry, specialising in outerwear that is practical and stylish. This awesome bright yellow coat is known as the Beachcomber and with the company's ethos stating- be in tune with your surroundings I thought testing this coat out in the sand dunes at the north coast the perfect location. I couldnt resist the vivid colour, known as sunbeam on their website and loved the nod to the nautical with the overall style. Running around the sand dunes with Dave & our dogs in March I was worried that maybe I wouldn't be warm enough in this light jacket but I was proved wrong right away. The jacket is completely windproof and kept me toasty warm even through some pretty stormy winds.
