magpie-girl-style-blogLiving in the countryside certainly has its perks, plenty of meadows, streams, forests to explore. You are never woken to the sound of traffic or noisy neighbours only the occasionally chatty cow or cherp of birds.. Sometimes I wish I had more blog photos with pretty townhouses blurred in the background or some nice stone stoops to perch on... But then on a sunny day sitting in the garden surrounded by rolling hills and peaceful scenery I quickly change my mind about city living.

  2. What a lovely dress Vicki! I certainly miss the English countryside now that I live in one super polluted city, haha. Loved reading this. You've captured all of the things I adore most about the easy calmness of the outdoors (:

  3. i traded in the city for the country not too long ago and i've been savoring every moment of quite, bucolic bliss. my noisiest neighbor is a rooster named Bertrand and that's a huge improvement on rowdy gutter punks. this outfit is darling, I love the painterly print of the dress and the contrast of the structured, geometric necklace is nice.

  4. You can't beat the countryside in the summer <3
