So this is my last post for just over a week, as on the 8th May at 1pm to be precise, I will be walking down the isle in a white dress to say I do and get married! After getting engaged way back in 2012 I cant believe this day is almost here! Just over a month ago Dave was struggling to find a job and we had yet to move in together, now he has a job he really likes, we have a little rented house and we are getting married... a lot changes quickly!
We decided not to book our honeymoon right after our wedding as we weren't a 100% we could (a) afford it and (b) be able to get the time off all in one go, so we are booking for later in the year. Which has given me plenty of time to window shop and work out exactly what I want  need!

I dunno about you guys but every so often I get this urge to complete revamp my style. This summer I want a more modern simplistic wardrobe less floral and girlie but still feminine. Ive been really attracted to a lot of monochrome pieces and then adding pops of colour like with this amazing hot pink River Island hat. Im always a sucker for prints but Im thinking less polka dots and more checks & palm trees & clashing prints. Also I dont tend to wear heels on holiday as the heat makes my feet hurt and swell if Im walking around but I thought these gold low heel sandals would make a simple outfit more dressed up for an evening out for cocktails.
Well thats it from me! See you in just over a week when Ill be a MRS!! eep!!

Ill be leaving my blog in the capable hands of some lovely blogger pals of mine so be sure to stop by and check out their posts in the upcoming week! :)

There are some brilliant picks on this page - I think my faves are the tapestry print dress and gold heels. You're gonna be one stylish bride!

  7. Congratulations! Good luck with the last week of organising! And I hope you have a beautiful day. I was just looking back on my wedding planning book last week and found the page where my husband and I wrote down every last thing we needed to take to the wedding with us (we were doing it in my parents town, followed by honeymoon). It brought all the fun and madness back to mind. I hope you have a great time. Looks like you're planning a honeymoon somewhere lovely & hot, sounds awesome.

  9. I do think hiring a wedding planner is quite necessary if you have enough budget and it's a medium or large wedding with at least 100 wedding guests!
