Magpie Girl Makes... Diy Dottie Sheets

magpiegirl-diy-sheets
This is a diy Id wanted to attempt for a long time, I bought plain white sheets and couldnt decide whether to dip dye them or print spots on them. Then I saw this image on pinterest and decided spots where the way to go.
You'll need plain white sheets ( try Argos or Tesco.) Dylon fabric paint. I chose black and mixed yellow & green together to make this acid green neon shade. A cork to use as the stamp & a paint brush.

I created block black spots and then re-stamped them to get a worn grey dot as well. Painting the bottom of the cork every other time and stamping a random pattern of spots on the sheets.

I added in occasional acid green spots as highlights, once the sheets are dry heat fix the dye with an iron and then they washable with no chance of colour running.
