This months Take 10 challenge was brought to us by Call it Spring, we chose between a strappy pair of heels and these boots with three buckles and metal tipped heel. Something about these booties I love, they have a pointed toe shape that makes them feel more polished that a lot of my boots.
So far Ive worn them with everything, velvet leggings, dresses and skinny jeans. They are definitely versatile and Ill be wearing them all winter long.
Ive only included one full length photo of this outfit as I was really not happy with the outcome, sometimes you style up an outfit and it works and sometimes (like now) it doesnt. This pinafore dress is a really boxy shape and combined with my loose fit blazer I think the proportions are all wrong. Basically I think I look... a lot wider than I actually am. But C'est la vie, Ill learn from the mistake!

I actually think this dress is adorable on you. It's supposed to have that shape! It looks really 60s mod to me and the color is gorgeous on you. I think it would look great styled all on its own with some cool vintage flats when the weather warms up. Maybe a short sleeved mock turtle neck sweater would look cute with it too. I would just play up its retro feel. It looks super cute over your polka dot top though!
