Do it yo-self!

Firstly I just wanna say thank you for all the comments, tweets & general support for me regarding my last post. Im still trying to work out where I wanna take my blog & what I want to do. So for now Im going to try & blog when I want about what I want & try not to feel like I have to, or worry about not having inspiration for a post.

Something I have wanted to do on my blog for ages is DIY's.. this one is a simple one but a pretty nifty idea for sprucing up some simple crockery. I bought some plain lilac china for when Dave & I live together and decided to inject some uniqueness to it.
All you need for this is, is some plain china & a porcelain pen I chose a gold shade.

I chose to do irregular spots, grouping some close together and some far apart for  a mis matched polka dot pattern, but you could do a number of patterns. Make sure you test out your pen on paper first as the flow of ink is irregular at the start. I also purchased the same china in a duck egg blue to mix and match with the lilac which I think I might also customise with a small triangle print...

Hope you guys like this simple diy. I bought my pen on amazon for those of you who wanna try this out themselves. :)
