Hello Sunshine...

Friday, April 20, 2012

The literal sunshine only lasted a day or two before the cold rain came back.. eh where is spring?
But the sunshine brightness of this field is still as vibrant as ever, so lovely to drive past on my way home everyday...

Cardigan: c/o Matalan, Top: c/o Romwe, Skirt: c/o Zalando, Boots: M&S, Wrap watch: Swatch,
Bracelets: Elsie belle, Crete Market.

I try not and wear an entire outfit that has been gifted to me, but the shades of mint matched with such ease I couldnt not wear them together. This skirt is now one of my favourite spring skirts, the grape vine print makes a nice change to the florals everywhere at the minute. The length hits just an inch or two above my knee which makes it perfect for work & weekends, and with the chunky brown belt attached I can match it with black or brown.
If you havent checked the Zalando own collection make sure you do, I first read about it on Carrie's blog here it sounded so dreamy I had to check it out for myself. The collection
is split into three stories New Retro, Modern Tribal & Sci Tec. My favourite being New Retro, if I could every shade of pastel suede shoes in this section Id be one happy bunny!

This weekend Im off to hen party to a secret location (secret from the bride to be anyway!) Im expecting lots of girl talk, cocktails, spa treatments & shopping! Should be good! :) x

  3. I love the setting of your photos, wish I had a place like this near me! I understand the whole c/o thing, I like to think that I've picked items so well that they fit seamlessly into my wardrobe and I just forget when I'm planning what to wear. The mint colour of your cardigan is perfect, I bought a similar coloured one from Topshop and it's really helped me feel more Spring-like. Hope you're good!

  7. I love the top. It goes so well with the rest of the outfit, especially the skirt. And I've been dying to get to our local rapeseed fields to get some pictures but we've just had constant rain for the past 5 days! So much for being in a draught haha!
