Polka Face...

Wednesday, August 10, 2011

Cant stop wearing this sheer maxi skirt...Im pondering ways of working it into my autumn wardrobe. Maybe with cropped chunky knits and flat biker boots..

But while its still (kinda) summer...I teamed it with my trusty pink waist belt, and this little lime top which has a soft self spot that you can only really notice in the close up photo...

  1. I think the skirt will look super cute for the colder seasons! But you may need tights to stop your legs from freezing, haha. I think it'd look great with plum/burgundy, as black always does!

  2. This skirt is gorgeous...there's just something so elegant about maxi skirts. There are so many lovely cropped jumpers in the shops at the moment that you'll have no problem transitioning seasons with this skirt :) Also, having just wracked my brains to come up with bday pressie ideas recently for my boyfriend for his birthday I'm very curious about what you bought your man :)

  8. This is beautiful! I have seen the sheer maxi skirt appear a few different times in fashion blogs and websites, but I absolutely love how you've styled yours here. A very fun color combination, and the photography is wonderful! So glad I stumbled across your blog this morning - following your RSS feed now, and looking forward to seeing more in the future!

  10. This skirt is lovely! I love sheer maxi's but they really don't suit me! I think it's because most of them are pleated or have a pleat effect thing going on, which really doesn't suit my body shape.

  11. I love this skirt, of course, because of the polka dots, but also beacuse of its sheerness. So subtly sexy.

It would be fun with coloured tights in the autumn, wouldn't it?

  16. I know how you feel - I'm always trying to incorporate my favorite summer pieces into fall as well - knit tights and thick cardis usually do the trick!

  26. That skirt is amazing! It's different to all of the plain sheer maxis around at the moment (saying that, I'm making a plain black one of my own atm :P )
I think it'll look great with biker boots and knits in the winter too.
