Flame Red...

Friday, February 11, 2011

As promised my new hair...dyed live xl real red. I wanted a bright orange red colour and im pretty please with the results although it fades everytime I wash it that im guessing it wont be this colour for long..
These photos dont really do the brightness of it justice as they are taken inside, hopefully over the weekend ill get some good shots outside so you can see the colour better..

What do you guiys think? Love it hate it?

  3. Love the vibrancy ... suits you. I use to have hair this colour and quite liked the phases of colour as it weakened with washes. All good!

  5. Gorgeous! I agree red is a nightmare to maintain! Have you tried Scott Cornwall colour sealer from Boots, it's about 3.99 I think. My sister uses that exact colour on her hair, whilst I use Schwarzkopf palette ruby red and both fade really quick.

  29. I've finally found a red that doesn't fade that much... it's less orangey than yours though... LOVE yours. Once you go bright red you'll find it so hard to go back... it's just so vibrant and lovely :)

  40. You look amazing, the colour suits you so well. I have always wished i could pull off red! But then, i'm quite fond of my dark hair, so I would probably chicken out of dying it anyway :L xx

  42. I had red hair for a good few months last year then got sick of it and went back to brown (I'm actually blonde though!) but last Monday I decided I missed my red and in a spur of the moment kind of thing I dyed it this same colour! I love it, but for me it came out a lot brighter than I wanted. With me hairdyes either don't work at all, or work TOO well. It looks great on you! x
