Daisy Chains...

Friday, February 18, 2011

So what do you guys think? Anything like my sketch? lol.. I just had to have this sweet daisy dress when I saw it on the Matalan website and what a steal at £14! I nearly bought a Topshop version the week before for around 30..I got a size 10 which is a little on the big side but I wasnt saying no! So i nipped it in with one of my many waistbelts!

My hair has continued to fade but it has kept the vibrancy which I LOVE! Under direct
sunlight it kinda glows this bright orange colour..

I wore this outfit on Sunday to the forest park to walk little Pixie, I threw on my sailor-esque coat to keep me warm cos although its sunny its still bloody cold here! bring on summer I say..

Dress: c/o Matalan, Cardy: H&M, Waistbelt: Primark, Pear necklace: Diva, Brogues: c/o Schuh,
Tights: Oasis, Sailor Coat: Topshop.
Im gutted to not be attending London Fashion Week this season, but after applying for my press pass in early January I didn't get it confirmed and sent to me until 8 days ago!!?! by then the flights and accommodation were too expensive..*sigh*..but Im off up to the coast in about...
ten minutes with Dave so I cant wait! It'll prob be gale force winds and rain but hey! It'll be an adventure! lol
Anyone got any exciting plans this week? Who is heading to LFW? x

  5. You got the sketch spot on. The outfit is lovely and beautiful photos too. Does the pear necklace open up like a locket? I saw one similar in a charity shop I had my eye on for ages now, anyway the apple opens up like a locket.

  11. I love that dress too! Can't believe Topshop charge so much when it's so cheap in good old Matalan. Particularly loving your hair in this post, especially in the 5th photo down - looks like it could be in an editorial, the colour are gorgeous and so vibrant!

  33. I saw this dress myself in Matalan the other day and would have bought it but unfortunately they did not have my size :( Looks lovely on you though! I especially like the way you've played up the yellow with the cardi. Also, I want that Topshop coat so bad! Kicking myself for not buying it when it was on sale last year!

  35. That dress is so pretty!

I don't know why LFW's press accreditation takes so long, they could probably manage it all much earlier you'd think. I went yesterday evening and today and it was good fun, but pretty exhausting! I felt very lucky and privileged to go, but I can't help but think it's not quite as amazing as you're led to believe, looking at it from the outside!
