Current Crush: new shoes...

Friday, January 14, 2011

I think Ive developed a bit of a shoe addiction..Ive bought 4 pairs this year and its only January!! These shoes below are my current fav pair which I bought while snooping the River Island sale unfortunately they werent in sale.. I just love the painted flowers all over them and going up your ankle slightly means your feet stay warm ( and you can wear odd socks and no one is any wiser) They remind of the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland film, the scene with the animated dark talking flowers..

I pretty much live in flat brogue style shoes so these shoes were perfect for me and when i wear them I look now and chuckle at their ridiculousness..sometimes a girl needs silly shoes in her life..
if you wanna check these shoes out on their website they are here.
and Ive just found another amazing pair that will prob be my 5th pair to buy this year..here
My weekend plans consist of a trip to ikea, window shopping, dinner out with Dave on Saturday night at a little bistro to mark us being together 2 1/2 years :)
What are your weekend plans? P.S new giveaway coming soon courtesy of Dorothy Perkins!

  28. I really wanted them but they logical side of me won when I couldnt think of what to wear with them. I suppose the idea could be that they clash with everything. Im a bit of a matchy matchy person and it freaks me out when things clash haha. But they are so pretty and such a good price. Seeing you post about them makes me want to invest! Like you said every girl needs some silly shoes!
