Pretty little things...

Monday, May 03, 2010

It finally feels like summer is here. The days are (slightly) warmer, the smell of freshly cut grass is everywhere, bikinis and tiny denim hot pants are all over the high street and i saw my first butterfly yesterday..

Apologies for the lack of blogging this week, my may day weekend was pretty packed with activities which kept me outdoors and way from my laptop.
Anyways above our some photos I took of some pretty little things that I look at almost everyday. Firstly and most importantly is the Hans Christian Anderson Fairytale book, this belonged to my Granny and when I was little I remember looking at all the beautiful illustrations while sitting on her living room floor.. She left it to me and it is one my most prized possessions. Incase you cant read it, its inscribed inside to my Granny Honor dated 1934.
The other items inc my actual front door key, my Anna Lou London hairband blagged after a fashion show in London, I Love You hand painted token Dave brought me back from Co Mayo, and the last photo is a brooch i made of my Magpie logo! Hope you like it! :)

Oh and finally only a couple of weeks late (sorry!) the Winner of my 'Made Up with Make up' give away is....Mollykt.
Send me a wee email with your address my dear and ill send you all the goodies you won! :)

lovely photos :) they're so precise and "old" looking. i love the fading effect thing (sorry, artistic language not correct because i'm not too artistic).
