Ive had a pretty busy weekend of fun filled events and now am completely shattered sitting in my comfy hoody watching Clueless as i write this..thank you for all your sweet comments about my newly dyed hair, ive got quite a hair obsession at the minute, its the longest its been in years and now im ready to experiment a little bit more with it than just wearing it down..

I can not wait til my hair is long enough to put into one long loose thick plait like this.

lady gaga..who else would think to put their hair in a hair bow!?

I love back combing my hair to create like a matted look..

These two photos where taken last week, just tided my hair up on the very top of my head in a messy twist. A lot of people told me i looked like pebbles from the flintstones.. i took this as a compliment.lol.
Wearing: Cocomenthe jumer, rings from random market in Paris, giant earrings from Topshop.

  16. That colour is stunningly vibrant. My hair is super-short now and I miss being able to tie it up in a 'just-got-out-of-bed' way.

I watched Clueless last night... may do a post about my favourite outfits. Wouldn't you just love a computerised closet?! :)

  19. wow that braid in the first picture is exquisite. I also saw two bloggers put their hair in a bow, and it was really cute. Not as dramatic as Lady Gaga's.

  22. Wow I like the vibrant colour of your hair :) It suits you and you do look like Pebbles from Flinstones a bit - how cute!
I love the picture of the first plait - lovely. Wish I could pull it off on myself but I can't do plaits well at all and my head is so round so doing that to my hair wouldn't help the roundness of my face LOL. But you could pull it off for sure when your hair is longer :)
Thank you for dropping by on my blog as well!

  25. loooove Lady Gaga, she's brilliant! & your hair looks really nice too, very volumized unlike my flat hair =(

thank you for stopping by my page, & the answer to your question: Color your brows the same color as your hair ofcourse, but if your hair is blue than obviously don't dye your brows blue.. lol if you do however have very light hair, go for a shade darker on the brows that way you dont look sick with light light eyebrows. Eyebrows are a definite key whether you've got makeup on or not, they compliment your face shape as well, don't over pluck! & don't over fill!

I hope this helps you out alittle. Thanks again I'm def following your page. <3

  36. ; ) Yes, Emily beat me to it: I can see the Pebbles reference! That colour is gorgeous, Vicki. You look lovely, & it's a great, fun post (as is your whole blog!)

So sorry I haven't visited sooner - I feel I'm neglecting my blog-friends lately! I replied to your question where you left the comment - sorry, I can't remember what post it was now - but realised that's pretty silly, what if you didn't happen to come back to that post? If you'd like when you get a chance, just email me @ jill@haybooks.com, but I've only gone digital since July. Did it kicking & screaming, it was my husband's idea because the turnaround with film, getting scans etc is just too slow & a pain in the ass, frankly. But I still feel disloyal to my dad's lovely Pentax!

My camera was used, but it still cost about £250 or £300 I think, without the lenses. But I do recommend it! It's a Canon EOS.. 30D, and the wonderful guy @ Camera Cafe (near the British Museum) - which sells mostly film cameras, it's not where I bought mine, but they're great to ask questions - sold me a new 52 mm lens because he said it's the closest thing to having the look from my film Pentax.

Okay, now that's a long comment... anyway feel free to email me. It's a big step. I was literally crying, & my husband said 'you can still use the film camera, we're not throwing it away...' but now, I love my Canon! I love them both ; )

    xoxo
