Purple Rain

Thursday, October 22, 2009

Because I work in fashion, a work style uniform doesn't really apply, I don't have to wear suits or black. I can wear Gola boxing lace up boots up to my knee with florescent leggings and no one would bat an eyelid.( Ive done it before) But sometimes its nice to sorta conform and dress "work-like". This is my version of it anyway! Im obsessed with colour so with this outfit being mainy grey I threw on some bright purple tights to balance it out.

Grey cardigan: H&M, Bow t-shirt: ASOS, Waist belt: ASOS, grey puffball skirt: Salt & Pepper, Purple tights: Topshop, Ankle boots: Dune. Jewellery: Vintage.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by my blog and left me questions for the Q&A for my 50th post. Feel free to keep leaving questions! I shall answer them all soon! :) xx

  1. Hi dear! The cupcake is adorable! Thanks a ton!

You are so lucky! If I go to work in something like that I might get fired. =( My boss strictly believes that black pants and a black blazer are the only "work -like" fashion that exists.

Btw, adore the bow on the shirt!

  3. Cute belt - it was actually the first thing to catch my eye.

I'm so glad that (in general) work dress codes here (New Zealand) are a bit more relaxed...

  11. That outift is just stunning- you have such a good eye for fashion, and i think an outfit that looks the best to others is the one that feels the best to you.

As for ballet- i never had lessons either, probably a good thing as i'm as felxible as a steel bar- and judging by my experience in tap classes i definately have two left feet!
