A grain of sand...

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

Finally a half decent outfit post! Im really pleased with how these pics came out as I am still getting over my camera shyness. My lovely other half took these photos during one of our days away at the coast last week.
Coat: Caty Lesca, Jumper dress: from random sample sale, grey ribbed leggings: market in Paris, earrings: H&M, Boots: M&S, green prescription glasses: Mui Mui.
My technical difficulties continue as my camera has packed it in at the young age of one year old, I took it to be repaired and have been told the reason is due to a grain of sand getting stuck along the lens and that the chances of fixing it aint good.. one grain on sand!? So im starting a new camera fund, donations welcome! lol.. ( fingers crossed my old one can be fixed!)

  14. Hi Vicki,
It was lovely to hear from you - I've been busy & been meaning to visit anyway - and I saw this lovely post (I'm glad you're less camera-shy: you're so cute & photogenic!) & then I realised the irony of the coast/grain of sand reference.
I really feel for you. I assume you shoot digital? What is your current camera? I ask because if you don't have the funds yet to get a new digital camera, wonderful old film cameras come up on eBay all the time. Actually why am I writing this in a post??? If you want to email it's jill@haybooks.com but really just wanted to say hope your camera makes a miraculous recovery, and that it's a lovely post!
